Q. What type of franchise is available?
A. Dirty Dog Franchising Group, LLC offers individual Dirty Dog Hauling franchises for sale to qualified candidates.
Q. How much does the franchise cost?
A. The estimated initial investment to Dirty Dog Hauling ranges from $66,500 to $88,000 with a franchise fee of $25,000.
Q. How much is the fee for continuing support services?
A. The continuing services or “royalty” fee is 8% of your Gross Sales, which must be paid on a weekly basis. The fee entitles you to use the Dirty Dog Franchise Group, LLC trade name, and the associated service marks, access to operational systems, marketing assistance, ongoing business development, consulting and other benefits that come with being a part of the Dirty Dog Franchise Group, LLC.
Q. Will I have an exclusive territory?
A. You will not be granted an exclusive territory, however, you will be granted an
Area of Primary Responsibility that will be delineated by streets, highways, zip codes or natural or political boundaries and will consist of an initial area with a population of approximately 100,000 persons.
Q. What about advertising?
A. The Dirty Dog Hauling™ name and reputation is an important part of your business. You are required to spend at least $6,000 on grand opening advertising during your first 3 months of operations. We will provide you with guidelines for your grand opening advertising. Also, you will spend at least 10% of your Gross Sales, on a monthly basis, on local advertising and promotion. In addition, once implemented, you will be required to contribute an amount of up to 2% of your Gross Sales, on a weekly basis, to the system wide Co-Op Marketing Fund, designed to promote the overall brand image.
Q. How much training is provided in the Dirty Dog Hauling system?
A. Your designated manager and up to one assistant will be required to attend an initial training program pertaining to operation of the Franchised Business including sales and marketing methods, financial controls, maintenance of quality standards, customer service techniques, record keeping and reporting procedures, and other operational issues.
Q. What form of business start-up assistance and ongoing support will I receive?
A. At the Franchisor’s expense, in conjunction with the beginning operation of the Franchise Business, Dirty Dog will make available to Franchisee, one (1) of Dirty Dog’s representatives, experienced in the System, for the purpose of providing general assistance and guidance in connection with the opening or continued operation of the Franchise Business
Q. What is the term of the Dirty Dog Hauling Franchise Agreement?
A. The term of the Franchise Agreement is 5 years from the date the Franchise Agreement is signed. If you have substantially complied with the terms of the Franchise Agreement, the franchise is renewable for 3 additional terms of 5 years each.
